What the motor has been warning you
Belated news, the light. The symptoms generally grow for weeks before it shows:
- less power, above all climbing uphill
- revs that will not pull the way they once did
- the fuel economy is worse
- without a word, the stop/start packs in
- smoke under acceleration, or a diesel smell in the car
That is not conclusive on its own. Alongside the light with them, the filter is a fair assumption.
Choked diesel particulate filters around Ower, and the reason
