Scheduled cleaning, rather than waiting for the light

Treating them before they do is better value than a vehicle stopping mid-shift.
Intervals are agreed per van or fleet-wide and tracked for you: at every 20,000 miles or 24 months as a baseline, more often where the duty is mostly urban, and after 100,000 miles every 50,000 miles or 2,000 hours.
Those are starting points, not absolutes.
Vehicle age and kind of equipment, the fuel, duty pattern, engine hours, load profile, time idling and how often a regeneration really finishes all change them.
What each visit includes
- a diagnostic check to confirm the DPF is the genuine problem
- a pressurised chemical clean, followed by a regeneration
- a post-clean test before the van goes back into service
- written before-and-after readings for the maintenance log
The written readings are the part fleets usually care about most.
They go into the maintenance file, and they are what an audit asks for.
Compliance
Routine cleaning assists Euro VI compliance for heavy goods vehicles and Stage V compliance for non-road machinery.
