We drive out to the vehicle. A fitter arrives at your address or work, treats the diesel particulate filter while it is even then on the motor, carries out a regeneration, and you end up with the filter you came with.

The light is on. What now?
It is not always the unit.
Several faults put the same light on the identical dashboard, which is why any visit begins with a diagnostic check rather than with treatment.
If the light is amber and the car even now drives normally, a long even run at motorway speed can clear it alone.
That costs nothing and is worth a try first.
Once the vehicle has slipped into limp mode, that window has closed and the filter requires a clean rather than driving.
What we do
Mobile DPF cleaning. The filter is cleaned on the motor at your address, anywhere it can stand for a while. This is the main thing we handle, and there is a page for every town we cover.
Catalytic converter cleaning. A different part with different symptoms — P0420, a sulphur whiff, heat under the floorpan — done on the car the exact same way.
Off-car cleaning. For a car that will not turn over, or a unit by then off the car.
Packed up, taken by courier, cleaned within 24 hours of arrival and delivered back ready to refit.
Fleets and trade. Priority attendance at a depot or yard, trade rates by arrangement, and planned cleaning that catches filters before they block.
What we do not do
We clean. Lifting a filter off a vehicle or bolting one back on is not work we take on, on either of the services.
A clean also cures exactly one thing: a filter blocked with soot and ash.
It does nothing for a faulty sensor, an EGR valve stuck open, an AdBlue problem, glow plugs or injectors blocking a regeneration, or a failing turbo putting oil into the filter.
The diagnostic comes first so that those are eliminated before anything is cleaned, and where one of them is the cause, you are warned before any work begins rather than after you have settled up.
What it costs
Cleaning starts from £299. A call-out charge applies to every visit and covers the call-out, the booking, the check and the advice that follows.
What you run and where you work both shift the number, so the price is settled on the phone.
Any clean carries a 30-day warranty covering aftercare, including an engineer heading back if the warning light reappears inside that period.
Where we work
UK-wide, all week. The phone lines are answered 7.30am to 6.30pm from Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 5.30pm on Friday.
