Off-Car DPF Cleaning
Off car DPF cleaning is for the filter that has by then been taken off the vehicle — postal cleaning, to all intents.
It is crated, taken by courier, cleaned at our own premises and sent back by overnight delivery ready to refit.
A clean begins from £295, and the courier is in that figure both ways.
When to send a DPF for treatment
Two circumstances. The car will not turn over, so nobody can do the filter where it sits.
Or the unit is since off, because a garage, a workshop or an owner who takes on their own work has got it off.
It is also the option when a clogged filter turns up alongside another fault — an EGR fault, an SCR fault, glow plug failure, injector problems, turbo problems or AdBlue problems. Those are different jobs, and cleaning the filter is what allows the remainder be dealt with without fitting a new unit.
What we do and what we do not
We clean. Getting a filter off a motor and fitting one back on is not work we do, on the postal service or the on-site one.
The unit has to reach us by then removed.
If the vehicle is still going and the filter is yet fitted, the call-out service is the simpler way: a technician drives out and does it on the vehicle.

If the unit turns out to be damaged
Inspection and testing happen before a clean for a purpose.
Where they reveal actual damage to the unit, treatment does not happen and you meet the delivery costs only.
No unit is cleaned that cannot be treated, and you are not invoiced for the try.
What it costs
Off-car treatment opens from £295, with courier collection service and return in the price.
The car and the condition of the unit both move the figure, so the figure is agreed on the phone rather than listed as a flat rate.
The job includes a 30-day warranty covering aftercare.
What we treat
Private cars, LCVs and HGVs. Soot and ash contaminated filters, and oil-contaminated filters, are both handled — oil contamination above all is one a regeneration will not budge alone.
Catalytic converters are done off the motor on the same basis, with the same courier arrangement.
