Last news, the light. The symptoms usually build for a while before it shows:
- power falling off, particularly pulling uphill
- you find the revs fall short of where they always went
- the fuel economy is worse
- the stop/start quietly bowing out
- the car stinking of diesel, or smoke when you accelerate
That is not evidence on its own. The light alongside them indicates a full filter.
What chokes diesel particulate filters round Little Minster
Being a residential suburb, Little Minster throws up just the use a DPF handles the poorest.
