Belated news, the light. The symptoms tend to mount for weeks before it arrives:
- power falling off, above all going uphill
- revs that will not climb the way they always did
- fuel economy going worse
- stop/start silently giving up
- smoke under hard acceleration, or a diesel smell in there
Any one of those, taken alone, is not evidence. The light beside them indicates a blocked filter.
What chokes diesel particulate filters near Truthwall
