Last news, the light. The symptoms tend to grow for some time before it shows:
- pulling uphill, the power drops away
- the revs no longer climb the way they used to
- fuel use that is worse than it was
- a stop/start that has meekly given up
- diesel in the car, or smoke on the way up through the gearbox
None of that is evidence on its own. Next to the light, it is a fair bet the filter is blocked.
What blocks diesel particulate filters near Priory Estate
