The light is late news. By the time it shows, the symptoms have generally been mounting for some time:

- an engine whose revs will not rise as they should
- the fuel economy is down
- stop/start quietly packing in
- smoke under acceleration, or a diesel smell inside
That is not conclusive alone. The light alongside them indicates a blocked filter.
What chokes diesel particulate filters around Kinellar
