Symptoms have generally been building for weeks before the light ever arrives. Belated news, in other words:
- dropping away on power, above all uphill
- an engine whose revs will not climb like they did
- fuel consumption getting worse
- the stop/start without a word packing in
- the interior smelling of diesel, or smoke when you pull away
On its own, none of that is conclusive. The light with them indicates a blocked filter.
Choked diesel particulate filters round Hury, and the reason
