- falling off on power, above all uphill
- the revs no longer climb the way they once did

- stop/start silently packing in
- a diesel smell in the car, or smoke under acceleration
Any one of those, taken singly, is not evidence. It is a fair assumption the filter is blocked once the light is there too.
Why diesel particulate filters block near Heathwaite
Being a rural hamlet, Heathwaite produces exactly the use a DPF manages least well.
