The light is late news. By the time it appears, the symptoms have generally been building for weeks:
- less power, above all climbing uphill
- an engine whose revs will not climb like they did
- worse fuel consumption
- silently, the stop/start packs in
- smoke under the throttle, or a diesel smell inside
That is not proof alone. The light beside them suggests a full filter.
Why diesel particulate filters block near Graig
For a DPF, the least kind driving is the type you find across a rural hamlet such as Graig.
