Signs the car has been giving you
The light is late news. By the time it arrives, the symptoms have usually been building for weeks:
- less power, above all going uphill
- the revs no longer pull the way they used to
- fuel use going worse
- a stop/start that has quietly bowed out
- diesel in the interior, or smoke on the way up through the box
Alone, none of that is proof. The light beside them indicates a full filter.
What clogs diesel particulate filters round Gauxholme
For a DPF, the least kind motoring is the type you meet across a residential suburb such as Gauxholme.
