- the interior stinking of diesel, or smoke when you pull away
Any one of those, taken alone, is not proof. It is a fair assumption the filter is loaded once the light is there too.
Why diesel particulate filters clog round Eden Mount
For a DPF, the worst use is the kind you meet across a coastal area such as Eden Mount.
