- tailing off on power, particularly uphill
- an engine whose revs will not pull as they should
- worse fuel consumption
- the stop/start without a word bowing out
- a diesel smell in the cabin, or smoke under the throttle
None of that is proof on its own. Next to the light with them, the filter is a fair guess.
Why diesel particulate filters choke near Crarae
