- you find the revs never reach where they used to go
- the fuel consumption is down
- a stop/start that has meekly given up
- smoke under acceleration, or a diesel smell in the car
That is not proof alone. It is a fair bet the filter is full once the light is on as well.
Why diesel particulate filters block near Charlton Adam
