- less power, above all going uphill
- revs that will not climb the way they once did
- worse fuel use
- without a word, the stop/start bows out
- a diesel smell in the interior, or smoke under hard acceleration
Any one of those, taken singly, is not conclusive. With the light alongside them, the filter is a fair assumption.
The cause diesel particulate filters choke near Beadlam
