Mobile DPF cleaning across South Ayrshire

Wherever you are in South Ayrshire, at your house or at your workplace, an engineer reaches the motor and cleans the DPF on the spot.

Nothing is taken off the vehicle.

The starting figure is from £299. Attendance is often same-day or next-day and time on site is typically around 2 hours.

There are 88 towns and villages we serve in the county. Ayr, Prestwick, Castlehill, Troon and Belmont are among them.

The whole list follows below. Each town on it has its own page.

What the engineer does when they get to you

The scan comes before anything is cleaned.

Ruling out a sensor, glow plug, injector or turbo fault comes first. A DPF warning light is not proof that the filter is the fault, and one of those faults is often present with it.

Before any work starts, you are warned if one of those is the cause.

• the fault confirmed and the filter's fullness logged, by thorough diagnostic scan and live ECU read
• a chemical clean under pressure, put in at the most suitable access point that vehicle offers
• a burn-off of what the clean loosened, run on a regeneration cycle
• the lights cleared once the scan is rerun, plus a road test where feasible
• pre- and post-clean reports emailed to you afterwards

On the same visit, a heavily blocked filter that needs a second clean gets one.

What it costs in South Ayrshire

Nobody sets off before the price is settled. Cleaning starts from £299; what you drive and how blocked the filter is both shift the figure from there.

You pay a call-out charge on every visit.

Whether or not cleaning proceeds, the charge meets the cost of the call-out, the booking, the diagnostic and the advice that accompanies it — a fault that turns out to be something other than the filter is still a visit and still a diagnosis.

Every clean carries a 30-day warranty covering aftercare, including an engineer coming back if the warning light returns inside that period.
