A DPF engineer comes out to you throughout Conwy and clears the DPF unit where the vehicle stands, at your house or at your place of work.

Nothing leaves the vehicle.

A DPF engineer attends often same-day or next-day and is on site typically around 2 hours. Cleaning starts from £299.

There are 142 towns and villages we serve county-wide. Llandudno, Colwyn Bay, Abergele, Conwy and Llandudno Junction are on the list.

The whole list sits below. Each place on it carries its own page.

What a technician does when they arrive

Before anything is cleaned, the scan goes first.

The light being on does not prove the filter is the fault. A blocked filter frequently sits alongside a sensor, glow plug, injector or turbo issue, and that has to be ruled out first.

Before any work starts, you are informed if one of those is the cause.

a live read of the ECU together with a full diagnostic scan, pinning down the fault and how full the filter is
chemical cleaner, pressurised and fed through the easiest access point on that vehicle
everything the clean loosened, burned off on a regeneration cycle
one short road test where possible, after a second scan and a warning lights reset
an email afterwards with the pre- and post-clean reports

A heavily blocked filter now and then takes cleaning twice, carried out there and then.

Prices across Conwy

Cleaning starts from £299. What you drive and how blocked the filter is both shift the figure, so the price is fixed on the phone before anyone sets off, rather than after they arrive.

The call-out charge is payable whatever the visit.

Whether or not cleaning goes ahead, the charge pays for the call-out, the booking, the diagnostic and the advice that goes with it — a fault that turns out to be something other than the filter is still a visit and still a diagnosis.

Every clean carries a 30-day warranty covering aftercare, including a technician coming back if the warning light returns inside that period.

Dan and Rob attended to my vehicle. I was kept informed prior to their arrival. When they arrived they analysed my car and pointed out the faults. They did the job in just over an hour and advised me on post cleaning tips. I thought DPF service was very professional.
